This is coming from someone who values customer service more than anything, after working in customer service for over 10 years specifically in providing customers warmth services. I personally just moved here recently, and this gentleman who has become a dear family friend to me has been a Prost customer for many years. So this is the background information for the readers. A frequent customer, and a recent customer. He already arrived there earlier than I did, so when I arrived, I was little bit thrown off that there was no water for him, and there was no "warm up" bread.. Eventually the waitress came and took our order, unfortunately she forgot I had an extra bratwurst as an order, and kept forgetting to bring us the bread. In duration of this whole experience, there were large crowd not following social distancing, which obviously put me at unease coming from a science background family, knowing this pandemic is not to be taken lightly.. Then as time went by, we were still waiting for the watiress to come and take our plates so we could get the check. I was on time crunch since I just had a puppy, and didn't feel comfortable leaving him in the crate too long. So time was an essential. Unfortunately it took an hour and half just to try to get the waitress' attention so I had it enough and had to go back inside the restaurant to get someone's attention for the check. What is even worse is it was my friends' BIRTHDAY. We didnt mention this to the waitress, but I wonder if we did, would it have made a difference. Not sure. Bottom of line, this restaurant needs to take a hard look at the waiter/waitress, if the ratio is low, then try to fill in with more staff. If cant, just try to work better as a team overall just to provide an excellent customer service.
