What not to like about Rosa at SPA by the pool. I had an awesome massage and esthetic touches at the salon experience. It was an amazing massage touch that made me relax. The comforting customer care is unlike anywhere in Panama.
Rosa also worked on making my hair look ready for dinner at CALETA located in the beautiful Hotel.
Astonishing Hotel, wonderful mix design french and panamanian. The latin american fusion food was excellent, taking into consideration that we are a very demanding peruvian foodies. We had a couple of issues in the room, a speaker, a phone, a bathroom face mirror, not working, probably because an unlucky conjunction, which was resolved immediately. The hotel was very receptive and expressed its apologies to us.
The Sofitel Legend is legendary both for its historical value and for the wonder of the careful restoration that was achieved. You cannot say that you have truly visited Casco Viejo in Panama City without staying in this hotel, which is the only one that has a view of the ocean... Great quality of hospitality, great professionalism and elegance... wonderful hotel!
We spent 15 days in Panama but the last two nights at the Sofitel were undoubtedly the most precious stay. A special mention of gratitude to:
-Héctor, who with his great professionalism welcomed us and took care of us and knowing that it was our wedding anniversary he organized something truly special for us... We felt "pampered" from the first moment... and until to the last;
-Ariel and Keyla at the Concierge, for their great helpful professionalism and supportive attitudes;
-Juan who during breakfast and lunch was a presence full of warmth, professionalism and commendable kindness, always willing to answer any of our curiosities about local culinary habits and customs, anticipating our every need with care and great attention;
-Aimée, always ready for a smile and kindness; -Mizael for his affable friendliness;
-and then Guillermo, Annette…
- Finally, an honorable mention with full marks to CHEF Lorenzo, who illuminates Panamanian culinary traditions with his originality, creativity and gastronomic knowledge, elevating them to starry levels and making the experience truly memorable!

Amazing views from my room, loved the pillows and matress, loved the smell, the food was so delicious in the places we visited, cocktails as well, the location, staff was GREAT but Annette from front desk was astounding and so servicial, definetly stood out 100/10 I will surely be back at Sofitel!
What makes this hotel so special is the overflowing sympathy, impeccable service and the attention to the guests in all areas.
From the moment that you arrive the doormen and the receptionist welcomed us warmly.
The decoration and the amenities place it in a high category. Our room is spacious and generous, with a nice ocean view a living room, a large bathroom as well as a large closets and a minibar.
La Caleta restaurant offers excellent cuisine and very good service. Julio, the daytime manager, was very attentive and checked several times to see if we were fine as well as Aimee the hostess and Maryin, Boris,Juan Uriel, Dario, Eduardo,Marishka (a lady whom I am not sure about her name spelling) who attended to us.
I have two observations, one is that the lunch’s menu is the same one as the dinner menu and dinner restaurant should be more generous with the bread.
We are leaving tomorrow thankful to
all for their friendly demeanor and warm smiles that contributed to a relaxed and enjoyable stay.
