The service at the hotel was excellent from the front desk, room staff, and the restaurant crew was amazing. If you eat at Masi for the breakfast buffet, ask to sit in Clemencio’s section, he is the best! We stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks and looked forward to seeing him each morning.

Loved every minute of my stay in Panama and the Marriott, my last day Dayaius and Dalia took care of me and were so lovely. They were patient with my Spanish struggles and very quick to help me feel comfortable :) will be visiting Panama again very soon and will choose JW Marriott.

The whole hotel is beautiful! The pool is a whole vibe, overlooking the bay and the food at Azul is excellent! The JW Market has some really good cafe con leche and Masi…chef’s kiss! Last but not least, Jeim’s at the front desk is a gem! He took time to tell us all the great spots and suggested, AND ARRANGED a day trip to San Blas for my sister and I. We are so glad we listened to him because some locals told us there were no good beaches. He was extremely pleasant and helpful, and it helped that he was from our hometown. I just can’t wait to come back for another stay, and I’ll be booking here for sure!

I am pleased to say that the hotel has since updated their website after my stay. It said that this hotel is on the beach but the nearest beach is 30 mins away. They have now corrected this. The hotel is on the bayside at Punta Pacifica and rooms do have sea views but not direct. The part of the building with direct sea views is the residence block. All hotel rooms have side sea views. The direct view from the balcony is another building on both sides. The room was dirty when I checked in and I had to be moved. I personally don't like the style of the rooms as the first thing you see when walking in is the bath tube. The bathroom and bedroom are all one space and only separated by a curtain. The hotel is tired and in need of renovations. For Marriott Bonvoy members this hotel doesn't offer a happy hour with free alcohol. Only food and all wines etc are chargeable. I was surprised that this was the case for a JW Marriott. The service offered by the Front Desk was poor. Billing was wrong, still waiting for points for my stay and staff quite rude. I wouldn't rush back here.
