Extremely Deceptive Practices

I had arranged a great rate for my stay , thru the marketing department of $139 a night . Rate was based on a 2 week stay from June 5th - June 17th . However at check in the sales clerk offered me an upgrade the “ deluxe suite” for $250 a night , I was hesitant at first yet I accepted. Well , at check out and having less then 2 hours to get to the airport they presented my billed for $250 plus $ 139 a night ! Total of $389 a night ! I was outraged ! I was pressed for time to get the airport , I paid and left .This was highway robbery , deceptive and criminal . On a side note the wait staff and housekeeping provided great service ! The room , furniture was outdated , past their expiry date . I rate the JW Marriott in Panama below a 1 ..

Luxury & Resort Style

The JW Marriott in Panama is an all around gorgeous hotel! From their contemporary structure of furnishings, clean/ spacious rooms that include a hot tub, water views, and the most comfortable beds and pillows, good drinks, infinity pools, numerous in-hotel stores, music lounges, 66th floor rooftop lounge, spa, and customer service! Thank you VICTOR VALDIVIESO (Restaurant Manger), Jose Axel, showing us where the Casio and 66th floor rooftop was located next door (it was a beautiful sight to see), and Henry for helping us with our bags and Uber arrivals! You were absolutely amazing in your sincere hospitality. I rate JW Marriott 5 Stars at its best! My family and I are definitely returning here to enjoy their fabulous pool that provided the perfect pictures day and night. Additionally, their variety of fabulous restaurants to choose from that provided a large selection of various food choices and drinks! I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this upscale hotel.

Room tip: Garage parking is provided in the hotel.

Great pool and staff

The pool area and staff are excellent. Great view of the Pacific Ocean and ocean reef island. Dayanis is excellent very friendly and great service!!!!Food is great and service outstanding nachos are highly recommended

Great Honeymoon Experience

This hotel did not disappoint. The rooms are beautiful and well kept by housekeeping. The staff at the restaurants and bars learn your name, room number, and preferences. A special shout-out to Amelio on staff at Azul and front staff at Masi.

Room tip: Check the events calendar on JW Marriott's website for special promotions and events at the onsite restaurants.

Staff were laid back and accommodating. Wait staff was helpful and professional. Will recommend! Dalia was lovely!

Dalia was pleasant and very helpful. Very professional staff. Accommodating and intuitive to guests’ needs. Will recommend to anyone who visits. No complaints. Staff generally were helpful and answered question that guest typically ask!

Marriott Pool Bar

Amelia is a bartender at the pool and he is the absolutely sweetest person they have! He’s so kind and his mixology skills are impeccable. Marriott treat Amelio kind, his kind come around never very often. If you go tell him Tasha sent you! I hope life treats him good
