Don’t get fooled by the pictures in the website, the hotel looks like that but 10 years older. Everything is very old and used - tiles with pieces broken in the ends, stained carpets, a decade old towels and sheets (very very used). The shower opener was broken, the shower temperature varies from very cold to very hot. Big room, but everything was old and not well kept, lacking maintenance.
The pool is like a nightmare: very very very loud music (unbearable, like a pool party), very old and uncomfortable chairs (the place to seat has even a hole!), not enough places for even half of the people there.
The only thing I can compliment is the kindness of the personal, all of them very nice. From the reception people to the breakfast people, is rare to see such kindness. Breakfast is also very good with lots of variety, we really liked it

Friendly staff and good value. Great breakfast buffet. I wish they provide hand sanitizers at the entrance. Both of us got Covid after our first breakfast

I would definitely go back to Riu Plaza. Panama is a tourist-centric country and that is evident at the hotel.

Vacation was spent very well,food was perfect, vallet parking was very convenient and reliable. Room cleaning was above par.

Very nice hotel, staff and excellent location. Very safe area, especially at night..and we had a wonderful stay! There are some excellent restaurants in the area, so take advantage of that too! Highly recommend, and we would definitely stay here again!
