Today was an excellent experience for a group of 17 students from the 6th grade and 2 happy teachers.
What we liked:
- the art and stories behind it were extremely interesting
- the guide Lala was passionate, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable, she didn't 'talk down' to the students at all and she stimulated their curiousity
- students eyes opened to the city as a 'canvas'
- students asked many questions, were very interested in the subject
- good route (Romana to Univeristate) and good time (2 hours)
I would certainly recommend this as an 'alternative' school activity for students 5-10 grade, and it offers many possibilities for follow-up activities in Language Arts, Art, History etc.
Thank you Urban Adventures !

"Hello,
It has been a super fun time talking about graffiti, street art and contemporary art and perspectives with the students, putting questions about the ephemeral side of street art, about how to look at an artwork in an active way, how to see the ridles inside a graffiti image, the different types of making street art, seeing them on the spot.
Warmest,
Lala"

I had a great time with Mircea wondering around the neighbourhoods of Bucharest appreciating the beautiful and eclectic architecture and street art. I booked the tour last minute and requested an alternative time and Mircea and Urban Adventures were so great to accommodate me.
The tour was about 5 hours long and Mircea had interesting stories and facts the entire time. He was a wealth of information. We visited a variety of unique places, none of which would be on the typical tourist trail. I highly recommend this tour to everyone and even recommended it to my sister who has lived in Bucharest for a few years. So much to learn.

"Hii there,
thanks so much for your kind words and amazing review! I am really glad that you enjoyed it, and that you discovered some other layers of this unique and diverse city. It is really exciting each time we run this tour, because it brings out a completely different way of understanding our culture (old and new), it breaks the usual style of guided tours, making you feel part of a real urban adventure!
Give us a shout whenever in town!
Lovely meeting you,
Mircea"
