We were a group of 3 couples and we needed 3 rooms with 3 bathrooms. Since we needed an accommodation nearer to the city centre, this apartment apparently suited us . Though this flat is on the 2nd floor and meant climbing up and down, I chose it because it was having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and one living room.
When we reached there we found that the 3 bathrooms were in different parts of the apartment. They were not attached toilets to the bedrooms except for one. In fact one bathroom was inside the kitchen and another one was near the entrance. Not very convenient for us. Actually we needed attached toilets but missed checking this aspect specifically . The host explained that most apartments in Zagreb have common bathrooms.
Otherwise this was a great place to stay.
It was very near Ban Jelasic square ,just a 10 minutes walk and as such very near to the attractions.
The rooms were big and well furnished. The kitchen was large and had all necessary gadgets.
The best part of the apartment was the numerous paintings on the walls. All the rooms had beautiful paintings. It was a real added attraction.
Adam , our travel operator in Croatia, was all praise for the place as it belonged to a friend of his.
Alen, the owner was a very helpful person and took great pains to explain our location , how to go around the town, where to shop, where to eat and what to do.
Just opposite this apartment is a breakfast joint. It serves variety of eggs. All nicely prepared but quite pricey.
At the back of the apartment building is a nice Indian shop selling all indian provisions and eatables. It is run by a nice lady . This was very helpful to us . We managed to get our needs from this place.
There is a Konzum store nearby.
The locality is good and we were told is very safe too.
There is free WiFi with good speed.
