I stayed here with my mum for 2 nights and was certainly not disappointed. From the moment of our arrival the staff were absolutely lovely. Whenever the staff saw us around the hotel they would always saw hello and ask if they could be of assistance. I would particularly like to mention Taniela who would serve us at breakfast, and ensure we had a wonderful meal. The concierge staff were also incredibly helpful. Room and food was as fantastic.

Stayed one night! Such a lovely and well maintained property. Staff also super helpful! Our room was very large, with a super comfortable bed! The pool by the water is super nice. I woke up early and the front desk was able to make me coffee and even brought some pastries... it was 4:30am!
The hotel is super historic, so great to walk around the second floor of the main building!

We flew in early and arrived one hour before check-in. GPH had our room ready, upgraded us (due to my Diamond status), and got us settled away after for much-needed rest. There were issues with the room, and we thoroughly appreciated their response and the manner in which the staff handled it. The rooms are comfortable, the bed is excellent for sleep, and the buffet breakfast and dining options are superb. This has become our hotel of choice in Suva, and we look forward to our next trip to Fiji in December, where we'll spend five nights at this property. A special note of appreciation to the dining staff, who bore me with my long breakfast meetings daily while supplying us with endless cups of coffee after we ate and ensuring that there was always a glass of cold water on my table. I appreciated this very much.

Grand ole lady just off the bustling mile where everything happens in Suva, but a short stroll away.
Was in a room in the new wing, which was very nice but lacked character given the heritage element of the main hotel.
Had ordered an eggs Benedict to the room and to say that the eggs were so overcooked the yolk bounced off the muffin as a whole, but hey ;-).
I did also have the Kokoda in the main restaurant which was the best ceviche-type dish I’ve ever had. The staff are lovely and helpful.
