There is lots to like about this renovated holiday Inn, including The usual comfortable rooms which I’ll ignore for now - Though I will say they are larger than most hotel rooms with lots of space and their own balconies – better than your normal Holiday Inn... And if you can, get a room with the balcony on the second floor facing the pool area – it’ll give you perfect pictures to send home with Blue skies, water, green grass and palm trees, And sunsets to die for.
But lots of hotels have that. What sets this one apart is it has the best breakfast buffet in Suva – better than some of the more expensive hotels – with lots of different food cultures represented, and the perfect egg and pancake chef on hand. 👌
And a great bar. It’s a place that the locals come to in the weekends.
Nearby are lots of excursions you can take to the almost deserted tropical Islands (eg Leleuvia was my fave 💚 !!) and go snorkelling, – we did that twice - , and the trip to Natalei eco-village to Moon Reef to see the Spinner dolphins was unique and worth a two hour drive.
The staff are wonderful – lots of people around to help with anything you want, and they very quickly fixed a leaky air conditioning unit.
I could easily stay here again. Cheers.
