We visited recently Beach Cocomo and given we researched the area and the reviews were expecting great things.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We had no choice in what we ate for the evening and the meal was less than average. It is a BYO and we forgot and ended up with water which wasn’t bad. We asked for beef as we don’t eat fish for the main meal however the beef was almost inedible. There was no desert also.

The service was great and the owner and staff member were very welcoming and attentive.

Unfortunately and with regret we don’t feel we would recommend this to others and feel that you could get better locally for less money.

Such an awesome little slice of the world, where else could you eat such luscious fresh ingredients on the sand cooked with love to perfection! Loved every minute of our meal and the service! The kids liked playing in the sand while we are, so handy!

Dined here recently with partner and family including grandies (who did not eat here).
This is simply Fiji rustic dining at its best . It is best to make reservations as ther are only really 2 x tables (max 12 persons). We had to delay our night here for 2 nights -
so we our whanau could be the only diners there. The restaurant we sat in is like a typical Fiji bure with authentic sandy floor - (reminded me of eating in Bali at the beach) . wooden tables - nothing luxurious here - excellent location - beachfront literally down a set of steps . However the ambiance , service and food are on another level - yes as the reviews all say it is Asian-Fijian influenced , all done with tantalizing flavours of local produce , Mari specializes in seafood mostly but does cater for vegetarians and non seafood eaters , it is BYO only . We chose a 5 course option - which sounds filling - but was not - proportioned right by a very talented chef/cook. It was my best dining experience taste wise on my recent Fiji trip and was also very well priced . In fact we all enjoyed it very much. Thanks Mari and Pai for a memorable dining experience - hence the excellent rating

This place is great. Only holds 12 inside - and maybe another 12 outside. We had dinner - Fiji-Asia fusion cooked by a super Korean chef. The view is to die for so get there 30 minutes before sunset (else its dark). BYO (no corkage fee).
