I have never written a bad review before!
We have been here three times.. it's been getting worse each time.

This time on the first night I woke up COVERED IN BED BUG BITES.. I turned on the light and saw/squashed baby ones.. then found a big one on me so took it to reception (6am) the lady was nice & took photos of the bug & said I'd have to wait for reservation person to arrive, but to prepare my bags to move rooms

** the reservations lady told me it was a traveling bug because the people in the room before me didn't complain!???
Then offered me the same kind of room but close to the noisy bar because it was the last room.
(If anyone has had bedbugs bites before they would understand that the sake room type would not help sleeping) so I said I would have to find other accommodation. They seemed to take pride in telling me multiple times: IF YOU LEAVE YOU WONT GET A REFUND!!!

I'm a solo parent & solo budget; this was a holiday with my daughter.. and it ended up costing me a fortune & I WAS VERY ITCHY.. (bites on feet, ankles, knees, arms, hands, face, eyelid, stomach)

I wrote to management and kindly asked that they would consider returning the nzd$390 for the two nights we didnt use.
They responded saying they would get back to me within 12hrs
This was over a week ago .. and I've since written to them again with ZERO RESPONSE.

I'm completely disappointed and disgusted that they would not even consider my situation & the horrible way they tried to make me feel guilty for THEIR BEDBUGS

Great location, the staff was super helpful and friendly. We loved our location and used Tour Managers to help plan our stay. Everything worked out perfectly!!

We booked a beach Bure almost right at the end of the complex. Everything was good in the room, but the bathroom left a lot to be desired. The back of the bathroom door was absolutely filthy from hand prints and had not been cleaned for a long time. The shower taps were leaking and had dirty brown stains going down the wall. There was a large section of paintwork falling off the wall outside above the outside bath. The entry door striker plate had been built out by about 10mm and not painted to match. Considering the amount we paid, one would have expected basic maintenance to be done.
