This is a very friendly resort with welcoming staff and a nice atmosphere. The huts that you stay in are a reasonable size and there is a bath and shower outside in your own little outside part but there is one inside too. The swimming pool is quite cold and we didn't end up going in it on our 2 night stay because of the temperature even though we wanted to. However, for the area it is quite good value but could do with an upgrade. Overall, this is a very nice place.

Do not book at Hideaway Resort. This was by far the worst experience we’ve ever come across in Fiji.
The staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming.
Upon arrival, the older man at reception that helped us with our bags wolf whistled at us as soon as we got out of the car, this really set the tone as soon as we arrived and made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe from the get-go.
99% of interactions we had with the staff were not pleasant as if we were a burden to them, even just asking for a pool towel. Which was given to us dirty and had stains all over it.
The breakfast service was not replenished during service, and menus were not served to us until we asked for them.
I would say that the only good thing about the resort was that it was a home for a litter of friendly kittens, however once we found mice scurrying around the room, we made the assumption that they are there as the resorts lazy attempt at pest control. Clearly not working.
Long story short - we packed our bags and checked out of the resort as soon as we could and went looking for better accomodation.
