My first time in this hotel. Not cheap, quite expensive for standard and facilities. Staffs are friendly and attentive, especially front desk and housekeeping, kudos.
Pool is big and clean. Very nice pool.
Due to high occupancy i have to take 2 types of room for my short medical trip. I am not local but working in Fiji. Not European either.
My first day, i reached at around 3.30pm , room still not ready. My first room, spacious, clean Deluxe Pool View . I dont go out much as I am not feeling well, however in the room , I am entertain with nice TV channels, various selection ( not many hotels in Fiji have various TV channel. The reception sternly remind me the next day I need to check out from that room at 10am and move to suite room ( which I paid a handsome rate too $415plus plus) a bit higher than my first room. 11am, the room still not ready, I am about to sleep and waiting, so torturing as Im not well. I have to keep asking the receptionist when to move as per them, i cannot extend in my current room as it been booked. About 2pm , finally they told me i can move now. Restless..
They brought me to new room, Suite, this room is worst room i have been ever. Walking in like walking into a morgue , the room was dark, big, empty except bar, damp carpet smell and they tried to cover with lots lots air freshener spray. I almost choked. What I am trying to say, if you ever book this property, DO NOT go for Suite option. Old room, smell bad , no fresh air , dark and empty. And expensive , not worth the price.
I insisted to change room.
However food are great with reasonable price, but F&B team will be asking you to put tips in each bill the submit🤦♀️
