Everyone who worked here was attentive, friendly, smiling and hard working. The breakfasts were delicious with eggs to order, fresh fruit and juices, all delicious!
The location was excellent head south to the river for great food and views!

Room Tip: Rooms away from street are quieter.

Since 2003, a short time after opening, I have been a regular customer. Finally the works for the tramvia in front of the hotel are completed.
This hotel has a very good service and breakfast. The rooms are extremely quiet. Only point for attention ( in many hotels) is that some of the rooms would benefit from a better lighting.

Room Tip: As this is a renovated building, there is a difference in the size of the rooms, but all are quiet.

Very nice hotel, good location for walking to churches, restaurants and shops. Due to some street repairs baggage had to be carried / portered 3 blocks to hotel. This temporary and the condition of a light rail line past the hotel might actually be a bit more convenient .

Could benefit from additional lighting in the room. The toilet is too low and might be
problematic for older folks with arthritis.

Room Tip: Dinners were NOT provided for our group. Arrangements can be made however as was done for a French medical group.

Unfortunately major road words for a rail line are occurring on the road out front, and will be for some time which meant parking quite a distance away. Otherwise this is in a great location and a beautiful building typical of the colonial history of the area. It is very close to the amazing blue domed 'new' cathedral and main square and most other buildings of interest are within walking distance. Many good and reasonably priced restaurants are also within walking distance.

Room Tip: At present stay away from the front due to road works.

The hotel is very well located. The staff are nice. Rooms are spacious but could use a little revamping, so do all the sections of the hotel. If you look closely, you'll realize a few things are falling apart. Poor amenities. Breakfast very basic. Service very friendly.
