Great little place!

When we got dropped off, we were scared! Graffiti all over and a strange man in a dark alley. Bad first impression, but unjustified. Lovely and very helpful staff. Room had huge terrace and large bathroom. Air conditioning
only cooled bed area and never made it to the bathroom. Small closet for clothes. Bedding and pillows were clean, bed a bit soft. Floor was well vacuumed, but made my white socks very dirty - needed a wash. Pool and patio area are VERY special - beautiful oasis in the middle of the city. Breakfast was delicious and coffee outstanding. Honesty bar allowed guests to make drinks and have snacks after hours - just keep track of your own tab. Beautiful sitting areas in this historic building. Shampoo/conditioner/soap etc were top quality products. Street with vendors, bars, restaurants and live street music just around the corner and up a block or so. Usual dinner time is about 8 so menu items can be limited in the late afternoon until dinner. A nice break from chain hotels!

A unique little Jewel in the heart of Santiago. It lives up to its boutique name in two ways. First my room had individual charm, roomy, great bed and good bathroom. On top, a view over the pool. Second, despite arriving way too early, I was shown up to my room quickly, leaving me showered and ready to explore the city. Nice touch.

I enjoyed the pool - really hot day - after trecking around the city and a quiet beer in the shade.

It needs to be said that no dinner is served, not that this was a problem for me as there is a restaurant quarter about 5 mins walk away with some really interesting choices. Breakfast was kind of average. Bottom line, great choice and exactly what I was looking for on my 1 day transit through thus friendly city.

Our third stay in Santiago (2018, January and February 2024). This was probably our favourite hotel as far as location is concerned, very close to Lastarria and the centre of Santiago. We had a very pleasant stay.

The hotel was a comfortable boutique hotel, staff were friendly and helpful and a wide selection of food was available for breakfast.

The swimming pool/garden area was small but a very peaceful area to relax in.

Bedrooms were reasonably sized and very comfortable.

Some feedback for the hotel, would be nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room or complimentary tea/coffee in the bar area. The honesty bar was a little confusing, we wanted a glass of red wine and ended up having to buy a bottle.

What a find! A true boutique hotel experience with fantastic, friendly service. I stayed in room 4, a stunning room in the first floor. Great breakfast with juices, fruit, breads, pastries, cereals, meats and cheese and eggs on request. Excellent coffee. An honesty bar with an outdoor terrace overlooking the small pool was a lovely candle lit place to relax at the end of a day of sightseeing.

5 minutes walk from the books/street market and an abundance of places to eat. But a quiet location on a side street so also a restful sleep.

A real gem!

Room tip: Ask the staff for top tips and a map of the neighbourhood. They're very knowledgeable and keen to help.

This boutique hotel is positioned right in the heart of the restuarant area of Santiago.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff who all speak good English. We stayed for one night on three different occasions as we travelled around Chile and left our excess luggage (including a bike!) with them each time for no charge.

They booked airport taxis for us whatever time our flights were and generally made our life easy. (Including providing a sandwich breakfast for us when we had to leave too early for breakfast). There is no Restuarant in the hotel but numerous varied restuarants within a 5 minutes walk.

The hotel was very security conscious and we felt very safe. Comfortable rooms with good baths which included plugs (we found many hotels didn't).
Honesty bar and lovely area to sit out in a wall garden right in the centre of Santiago.

The Casa Bueras Boutique Hotel in Santiago, Chile is absolutely amazing!
Chile has everything! We saw penguin, dolphin, pelican, a condor, Valpo, wine country, The Southern Cross, The Andes, and stayed in The Casa Bueras Boutique Hotel in Santiago, Chile!
This boutique hotel is beautiful, elegant, accommodating, and upscale. As three American ladies who wanted to hit the beach, the city, and the ski resort during Chile's winter, we were welcomed in by Loreto and Rodrigo. They made every concession and welcomed us like family. The coffee in the morning was superb. The breakfast was delightful. The ambience was lovely for reading and enjoying a glass of wine or beer. We could sit inside or outside and felt nestled into a perfect place to enjoy the city. We felt very safe in the city and were located near everything we needed. We spoke to everyone from all different countries and even had quite a few drinks with the many travelers who were a blessing as well. The honor bar was a classy and well -placed accommodation. The temperature and comfortable sleeping arrangements were appreciated after our three weeks of travel. We will always miss this perfect little boutique hotel that made a perfect niche for us.
