Cozy hotel with great people!

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 21 Dec 2020
I loved my stay at the Aldea Naukana so much that I ended up extending it. The rooms have a lot of character and warmth. They are the perfect place to hang out for the inevitable rainy day in Pucon. On a sunny day, there are great views of the volcano and town from the roof of this hotel. I also really enjoyed the breakfast - which they delivered to my room to allow for social distancing.

However, what really made my stay here special was the people who worked here. Oscar, the manager, was very helpful with arranging my stay and answering my questions. I especially have to recognize Mico at the front desk for his 5-star service and advice on exploring Pucon. He really went above and beyond to ensure I had a memorable and relaxing stay. This is the type of hotel where one leaves with not just great memories, but also friendships.
Date of stay: December 2020
Room Tip: Many of the rooms have a direct view of the volcano!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay here. It is close to the centre of town but still quiet. It has a Balinese feel to it with lush gardens and lots of wood. The rooms are clean and the beds comfy. The rain shower was wonderful. The breakfast was very good with eggs cooked on request and freshly squeezed juices. The staff were very friendly and helpful I’d stay here again. Pucón is a great base for the fabulous national parks and the many local natural thermal baths

Fantastic service in a quirky hotel. At 6:30 am when our pre booked transfer to the airport did not show up the night staff managed to call a friend with a mini bus to get us to the airport on time. Rooms are warm and welcoming and the travel service based in the hotel offered great day trips. We were there in the off season so not everything was in full swing but nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Wonderful hotel. One of the most original and pleasant hotels I have been around the world. Almost completely made of wood and other natural materials. Room and bathroom are not very big but great to be in. Breakfast is very good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Very well located: easy walking distance from all the restaurants and coffee cafes in Pucón but in quite street. Parking spaces available. View from hotel on the Vulcan. I very highly recommend this hotel. Experience to remember.

This hotel is really beautiful and you really feel like you are in a tree house. We had a great view over the volcano. The hotel is quiet and in a nice area, just a few mins walk from the town centre. Very stylish, and with a really good tour company attached that we booked the volcano climb with (also excellent). Only thing that let it down was that the heating was always on! It got so hot at night and we had to request for the heating to be turned off! Once they fix that, this is a great hotel!

We loved the quirky design and natural feel of this hotel. There is wood and natural materials everywhere and animal skins on the floors. All the rooms are named - we were in Odin at the front of the hotel with a large balcony and excellent view of the volcano. The room was very warm and cosy and the shower was powerful and hot. The breakfast room was also cosy with an open fire. The buffet breakfast was fairly simple but there was fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts, bread, toast and eggs to order. The staff on reception were very welcoming, always interested to hear about our day and giving us lots of ideas for places to visit, restaurants etc. There is an activity centre attached to the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

Room tip: Odin was an excellent room
