Ailie was our tour guide and she was waiting for the four of us by the Visitor Information Center. We were about a half hour early, having caught an earlier tender, but she was right there!
Ailie was very knowledgeable about the island and told us a lot of history on the driving part of the trip (about half on paved road and half off road). We were treated!) to all kinds of weather - sun, drenching rain, wind, you name it! Lots of Gentoo penguins at Bertha’s Beach! We had a coffee/tea break with some delicious pastry bars, baked by her mum, who is also a Falkland Outdoors tour guide!
Then she took us to Gypsy Cove, where a short walk took us to some molting Magellanic penguins.
Next, Ailie took us on a tour around Stanley, pointing out some local sites, before dropping us off at a restaurant for lunch at the end of our tour.
We had a great time in the Falklands and highly recommend Falkland Outdoors!
