Long awaited re opening and excited to see changes. Very let down to see just newly decorated with the old layout still in existence with no facility to visit for drinks only. Pre booked for lunch by not greeted by staff and had to queue behind walk in at counter in restaurant. Sought out the only waitress here pointed to our tables and carried on with her other duties. Waited 20 minutes before had to seek out waitress again to take drinks orders. Service appalling. Food ok but drinks served. Not chilled. Very disappointed as they charge top prices for their drinks. Will not be visiting anytime soon unless reviews tell me otherwise. Really sad with limited choices in Stanley.

We booked to stay 4 nights via a local travel agency and due to circumstances beyond the control of the hotel we had 3 nights in a Junior Suite and 1 night in a standard and smaller room. However as the smaller room was for our last night and we had to get up early for the air bridge anyway it didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of our stay.
The rooms have modern tasteful decor with contemporary fixtures and fittings. Lovely restaurant where we ate every night. There was complimentary beer, coke and water in the mini bar for every night of our stay and free wifi which has to be the way forward for the Falklands.
Reasonably priced bar which, in contrast to 'the other' hotel was available all day. If your considering a trip to Stanley this hotel is a must.

We stayed in room 3 with a wonderful view over the small pier that the cruise boat shuttles arrive. It was very comfortable packed with all the amenities you sometimes get in the top end hotels - fluffy towels, bathrobe and slippers.
Breakfast freshly made every morning.
