We stayed at AMOY twice lately on our way to and from New-Zealand. Everything was great (perfect location, excellent room, wonderful service, yummy breakfast at Dean & Deluca.... etc.), but the most important thing is the unique care and the personal treatment we received from people that really care about you, that understand your needs and serve you accordingly.
Free limousine to and from the airport, complementary drinks at the rooms, guidance about the city rtc. are all great, but the hotel manager Mr. Leo Douglas and his team surprised us with much more:
We formally checked out around noon time, but our flight was a late night flight, so they offered us a room to refresh ourselves (having a shower and resting) at the evening for that purpose FREE OF CHARGE !!!
One evening we came late after a long flight, so being tired we preferred to go to sleep rather than going out for dinner. After half an hour a knock on the door and amazing street food (chicken sate + souse) has been brought to our room. No, we didn't ask for it and they insisted and refused us to pay for it.
Very unusual. Needless to say that our loyalty to AMOY is granted.More
