This is a charming boutique hotel in a great location. The hotel is a 10 mins taxi ride from the great Indonesia mall and other main attractions. The rooms are on the small side but practical and clean. Breakfast is quite good and the restaurant and the lounge are good options to just stay put and kick back. I stayed for one night only (that is all the time I had in Jakarta) but I would definitely recommend this hotel for longer stays as well. Staff is friendly and quite helpful as well. The decor is just too cool...

Dear Mrs. Marisa,

Our glad to read your extraordinary feedback and shared your great experience stay at our room and also enjoyed your breakfast at Waha Kitchen. At Waha Kitchen, the menu, as a whole, is Pan Asian with a strong highlight on Peranakan style. One of the house specials is Nyonya Fish in lemongrass and tamarind sauce. Another highlight of the menu is the traditional Laksa curry that's served with Chicken, Seafood, or Roast Duck. Those are several well-known menu’s in Waha Kitchen and the recommended menu for lunch.

We really happy to know that you would recommend us. We hope that you will return and enjoyed another experience and we will definitely welcoming you with the warmth service.

Lovely find--not a chain hotel, but a quirky, hip boutique hotel conveniently located. Fantastic, attentive staff. Art work, antiques and decor is amazing and very comfortable. Rooms are small, but they've managed to tuck a lot into each and make efficient use of a small space. The live greenery and arrangements adds a lovely tropical feel.

Breakfast is one of the best I've had anywhere. You get a choice of hot entree--both eggs benedict and baked eggs are delicious--and a buffet of freshly cut fruit, juice, toast, and Asian delicacies. The baristas are incredibly talented and our lattes have been adorn with everything from elephants to peacocks.

Highly recommended!

Love love love this hotel. Centrally located and you can feel that every design has been well thought of. Room was small but not a problem for me and my husband.

Breakfast is ok. Nothing grand but also not disappointing.

Overall I would definitely recommend Kosenda Hotel.

Stayed for one night, nice hotel that is centrally located. Rooftop bar very nice but expensive. Rooms a bit too small but the beautiful layout of whole hotel and nice architecture throughout makes up for it.

We very much enjoyed our two night stay in Kosenda Hotel. The rooms were small but well designed so that the lack of space wasn't an issue. The glass walled bathroom was spacious and there was a full blackout curtain that stretched across the whole room for privacy/cutting out light at night. the room had a number of very thoughtful little features - the different coloured batik slippers, a holder of stationary items including a box cutter, multiplugs nicely tucked away in a row on the desk. Even though the hotel building is quite narrow, the design maximises the space with a space running right up the middle, and on the outside of the building, so that windows open out onto planters and hanging plants. On the ground floor, glass walls look out out this narrow space which has murals and plants creating an illusion of space and introducing more light into the building. The staff were friendly and helpful and they encourage you to try the local snacks on the reception desk. We found the food (breakfast and lunch) to be excellent and the barista is to be commended.
