What I like about the hotel:

Unbeatable location, within 5 minutes walk to Tsuen Wan Station
Shuttle to Tsing Yi Airport Express Station
Fast check in and check out
Though room is small, 4 hangers and fridge are provided

What I don't like about the hotel:
I can accept the small size of the room, but not the bed. I'm 1.65m tall, but the bed is not long enough when I lay down. My feet dangled beyond the tip of the bed.
As my room faces the Castle Peak Road, the noise of the traffic woke me up. Better if double-pane windows are used.
Washroom size is okay, but the shower area is too small. I could hardly turned around. Another reason is because curtain is used. I dared not to went to near to the curtain to prevent wetting the washroom floor and thus the slippers.

After all, the price is reasonable in view of its location, despite of the above-mentioned issues.

we stayed two nights at silka far east hotel. The MTR is 5 minute walking where you can go anywhere. lots of shops around the hotel. The fact they give you a mobile phone in the room where you can go around with to explore the city is great. it is a bit far from the center about 30 to 40 minute by the MTR or even to go to then night market. after 1 am you will have to take taxi back to the hotel from city center as no public transportation you can take as the bus will take around 2 hours. It is great in price compared to other hotels in hong kong

Great value for a few days of stay. Very convenient to public transportation and a short walk to mall, shops and restaurants. Staffs were very helpful and courteous, and there's a free shuttle to a few major locations.
