I didn't have any of the problems mentioned by other reviewers. I was in a ground floor room and had no bugs, no noise from other guests or cleaners, no overly wet floor in the shower. This hotel was my first experience of Hong Kong, and I was impressed - check-in was easy, the room was a good size, life was very peaceful on the hill,I slept well in the comfy bed, the wifi worked flawlessly and the whole place was obviously recently finished.
Just down the road is Mei Foo town, which has several places to eat (I had my introduction to Coral Cafe here), and there is the attached museum/art collection to wander through. I would not have liked to have taken my luggage up all the stairs mentioned by another reviewer but (a) there were elevators and (b) it was easy to just walk up the road.
The two small downsides are that the hotel is a bit away from it all (which actually appealed to me) and the doors did not self-lock, so I had to be careful to pull mine shut when I went out.More
