Dated. Smells of smoke but clean.

3.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 27 May 2019via mobile
Who would have guessed we were on a smoking floor. Me. The second you opened the elevator door. And when waiting for the elevator. Take a chair..... ridiculous. Literally waited for 10 minutes once.
Dated hirel. Reception is spotless and very 80s decor. Bar area is nice. Restaurant the same but only for the adventurous. And if you like fish...

Would I go back..probably. if there was no other option.
Lovely view of the park. Now that's highly recommended.

Hotel has high volume of outdated and small rooms yet only 3 working lifts during morning rush hour so wasted 40+ minutes waiting for lift to ride down with luggage. Hotel management was made aware of situation (something that must happen daily) and they did nothing to remedy the situation or even pretend they were trying.

Five of stayed here for 3 nights. Overall the hotel isn’t bad, fairly clean and staff are friendly. It is situated in a convenient location in Kowloon close to a park, shops and lots of places to eat and not too far from the harbour. The breakfast was decent with a lot of choice and some made to order options. The hotel bar is nice with a good choice of drinks and live music and was never too busy. Simon who served us is fab!

The downside of the hotel is the rooms were tiny with hardly any floor space, especially after the additional bed was put in for my son. The bathroom is also tiny with little room to dry yourself after a shower. We found the rooms to be a bit dingy as well and could do with brightening up. We did however have a good view from the window. The other downside of the hotel was the lifts. Although there is a number of them we were always appeared to be waiting a long time and they are very slow once you’re in.

Overall not bad but with all the accommodation options available in Hong Kong I don’t think I’d go back here.

The hotel is huge, as per everywhere in HK, rooms are smaller than expectations with little space to keep suitcases, or stow away etc. If you have kids and need a crib or special facilities, I do not recommend this - due to the space restrictions in rooms.
Understandable that for HK that's typical, maybe I should have taken a higher grade room, but everything is so expensive, the holiday budget would have gone skewed.

Pro being it's at a good location with good food connectivity and a 7/11 nearby:).

For a budget hotel okay, but for a family time, maybe not okay.

I stayed 3 nights in the BP Hotel, seeing their webpage pictures and their location.
The location was ok, however the hotel rooms were old and not at all as reflected on their webpage.
The staff was generally unfriendly and it was difficult to get answers when asking for help or advise.
The only friendly people I met in this hotel were the ones at the breakfast restaurant next to the hotel.
Certainly this hotel was not worth spending a higher amount of money compared to other cheaper hotels.

Alright after checkout I asked the waiter at concierge , he can provide me water. And he said its chargeable and you need to go to upstairs, I told him then better i go 7/11 just opposite, he said ‘upto you’ . Now in general they provide water free of cost during stay, while I was leaving a bit early. Besides that hotel do not provide any phone free services which normally you would fine in most good hotels, BP does not do that. The Checkin was ok, and so was checkout. Booked through Agoda. Bed was little hard, room size was small but you expect the same in HK, Location is fine, you can find a free shuttle K4 just outside the hotel which can take you to Kowloon to catch airport express. Jordan station is around 400 m for you to catch metro. Since the hotel size is too big so during peak time even lifts would take sometime would suggest this hotel only if you have some work around and also incase you would like to spend some less money.
