I stayed at this hotel twice in January 2019. It was my first stay in HK with a friend who had been there several times. We were both very happy with the location as it wasn’t too hectic while being accessible to the train station, star ferry and trams. An outdoor elevator linked us to many things including the airport express train and popular SoHo district. The hotel was clean, comfy and lovely. I saw a lot of HK and thought this location was really good.More
We were very impressed with helpfulness of front desk staff and location of hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful in filling our requests on check in, during our stay and on late check out. The location was close to all services that was required.

Simple to find, 400 metres from Central Station, modern, clean, and exquisitely and simply decorated, the Butterfly was perfect for our one night in Hong Kong. The staff helped us get taxis, looked after our bags until the next night, and the room was simply perfect - on the 25th floor as well, so a fair view. TWO aircon units and a humidifier in our room ensured maximum comfort and the huge bed and crisp bedding made sure we had a great nights sleep. A large modern bathroom with an excellent shower and superb decor reminiscent of a top spa, and loads of top notch toiletries. It wasn't the cheapest, but it was right in the middle and there was simply nothing wrong with it at all. You could have paid a lot more and still been perfectly happy. We would have been happy staying there much longer. Excellent.

When we arrived, we were not only upgraded to a higher level, but a bigger room as well! That was a PLUS POINT. Perfect location. Nice boutique hotel. Cramped but better than expected. Restaurants were easy walk to as the MTR for easy commute. The bed is not good for people with back issues. Nespresso Coffee at reception area was available, so that was a good to start for the morning.

Very impressed with the rooms! Spacious and lots of storage spaces although these spaces could have been reduced and another bed added. Felt like a 5 star hotel although there wasn't hotel facilities eg pool or gym but that's not important to me. Staff were polite and helpful. The hotel is clean and very comfortable. Although there was ongoing surrounding construction, the sound proof was very good. Reception area was comfortable. In the morning, there is a Nesspreso machine and cookies. Surroundings was full of eateries and buzzing with activities. The hotel is 10 min walk (mainly covered walk way) from the Airport Express station via IFC mall. Only negative point is the water pressure in the shower area. It was low. Hope the maintenance can look into it.
