The hotel is rather new and I like the mattress and pillow. It is comfortable. Upon arrival the concierge greeted us and they are very helpful with our luggages.

However the same could not be said with the front desk staff. Upon check in, the process is slow and I was told to pay extra for the Disney tickets to top up to Tier 2. I have booked 90 days jn advance for the tickets to be used on the particular day and they have already deducted the ticket price as tier 1 ticket. I am confused why they charged me the difference when I have indicated the date well in advance.

The buffet breakfast was not worth the price as they limit the dine in to strictly under 1 hour. You also need to queue up to take photo with only 1 Disney character. I was told if you go to Disneyland hotel breakfast buffet, you get 2 Disney characters there. On hindsight I would not opt for the breakfast buffet. It was too rush.

There are not many activities in the hotel itself. If I take a shuttle to Disneyland hotel, I have to loop one round so it will take about 15min to reach Disneyland hotel from the explorer’s lodge. I should think Disneyland hotel is a better choice for kids in order not to waste anymore time on transport.

Again I think Disneyland hotel is a better choice for kids.

we had a magical time! thank you for having us! we would definitely come back to this place! we were a group of 13 people including elderly and my kids(4 years old) and we all had a splendid time staying here.

the whole experience was great and I hope other groups would come here too!

The room was great- really clean- loved the refillable water purifier in the room - which you could use for refilling your water bottles and the Nespresso coffee maker.

Which brings us to "coffee" and other food items- we rec'd 2 nespresso pods per night of regular coffee ( room for 4 people). each nespresso pod makes approx. 4 oz. of coffee. IF YOU ARE STAYING HERE, BRING YOUR OWN INSTANT COFFEE!
In fact, bring many snacks or breakfast items, etc. as the trading post doesn't sell anything but souvenirs and the quick-service restaurant only sells "sets" (complete meals) for the most part ($168 HKD= $22 as of 10/24)- AND, if you are arriving from distant lands in the west, you might want something before 0730.....
