At first appearance the hotel seems satisfactory, but now after having experienced it for two days the sad reality is a poor example of the hospitality, service, and staff Disney properties are known.
The main resort is a stripped down, mid-level variant of the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Really generic version and more like a moderate level hotel at Disney World in Orlando. No charter and built to the minimum standards to appear like something it clearly is not.
Rooms are decent but the mattresses are single tops with no box spring. The result is like sleeping on a futon. They provide the bare minimum of towels and wash clothes (2) each for a room with three guests.
The staff appear to be nothing but walking robots that have no personality, provide minimal help with questions, and provide a cold, off putting feeling to the guest experience.
The pool staff are useless and rude if English is your main language. Especially rude was a larger blonde haired Asian attendant, who was nothing more than a sour, rude, off putting human who belongs nowhere that involves customer contact. She is the personification of a horrible service worker. If you stay here and see her, avoid her at all costs.
Unfortunately, if you want to experience Disneyland Hong Kong there are minimal choices for Disney Lodging. The other options should really be investigated further before you chose this property.
