Great location

Review of Hotel Benito
4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 6 Jan 2020via mobile
Great location. Walking distance to shopping malls, retail stores, outlets, restaurants, bus station, parks.
Spacious room,, however, no lobby to sit and have coffee. Water pressure and temperature setting is good.

Stayed for 3 nights in the hotel... our first time in our so many trips to HK. Tried it upon the reco of a friend. Our friend was right, the hotel was ok primarily becoz of its location...so close to lots of resto and shopping malls & stores.

From the airport, we took the airport bus going to the hotel. We got off at the corner of Nathan and Cameron Roads...and the hotel was just a corner away, about 20 meters walk. Typical of hotels in HK, the room was small but with enough space for a couple to move around without bumping each other. Wifi and airconditiong is ok...a must during our visit coz weather temperature was a bit high and so humid. Last time we visited HK, the hotel we stayed do not provide wifi inside the rooms. You have to pay HKD70 per day. The room we had at Hotel Benito was clean except for the toilet bowl which needed some more scrubbing. Overall, our stay in the hotel was pleasant. Hotel staff were friendly too.

WE had a 19 hour layover in Hong Kong and booked this hotel because of its location close to the harbor and the MTR station. Thought the room was decent sized by Hong Kong standards, and was certainly clean with a good shower and plenty of hot water. Can't really comment on the service since it was only a one night stay, but the staff we did encounter were courteous and helpful.

Small clean rooms. Housekeeping is great and we have new towels and water, coffee daily. If you prefer close to everything (ATM, restaurants, MTR, bakery, laundry) then this is the place for you. Beds are small (twin and double) but if all you need is a place to sleep, then this hotel works. It even has a safe.

We were on the 8th (top) floor. The room was small, as we expected, but OK for a 3 night stay -- we don't spend much time in hotel rooms anyway. The bathroom was fine. Hotel is very near the B2 exit from the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. A decent place for breakfast is next to the hotel - just turn right out the front door, and walk 10 steps.

In such a place, there is a lot of street noise. A motorcycle with defective muffler woke me about 1am - upon which I put in earplugs. The blackout curtain didn't quite cover the window, so some light leaked in.

Overall, we considered this hotel a good value.

Room tip: Higher floor would be a little less noisy

Had booked this hotel for 1 night's stay at HK. The location is excellent and 2 mins walk from the nearby metro station. Staff is excellent and very helpful. The place is 12-15 mins walk from the harbour as well.

But, overall, its a tad bit expensive considering the very small room size, and almost no other amnesties provided.

Book it if you find the price to be cheaper than other hotels - 1 extra star given for the location!
