Warwick Le Lagon is a beautiful resort with lovely gardens, rooms, grounds, beaches, jetty and the like + the huge reception pavilion is very stylish, welcoming and relaxing. The staff are all very friendly and the room service crews were excellent. Being able to zip across to Erakor Island on a free boat service is also handy + the easy proximity to Port Vila and all it has to offer.
The only let down was the chaos that reins at the Lagoon Terrace restaurant. Our first dinner was a disaster and for the price, the food was terrible and kept running out! Breakfast food was much better quality (very good in fact), but literally EVERY DAY of our 10 day visit you had to wait for food to come out, ask for bowls, ask for spoons, and beg for a cup of coffee! There is a complete lack of management oversight at the Lagoon Terrace, and if the facility was heavily affected by the cyclone and the staff losses that went with it, then at least tell the guests that and turn it into a positive "rebuilding story".
Overall however, we had a great stay, and would return for sure.
With a few tweaks, this could be one of the best family resorts in the South Pacific! But not yet.More
