What a building. The attention to detail is superb. The patterns in the marble, the carpet, the tiles. I thought it was spectacular. Very busy with tourists but nevertheless peaceful.

One of the most beautiful places! The mosk is amazing, super clean and spacious. You can have a great time to relax and connect with yourself.

As an admirer of contemporary architecture I believe buildings should reflect the present day and age and not hark back to the past, but this is a rare exception. Just 14 years old it nevertheless appears timeless in its beauty. The clean white minimalism of the exterior is beautifully set off by the delicate hardstone inlays on the columns and the courtyard paving, which really make a difference. The interior, however, is an entirely different matter, uselessly lavish and reflecting the bad taste typical of the nouveau riche. Beautiful at sunset (probably the best time to visit, otherwise all the white in the sunlight can be blinding). Most visitors unexplainably overlook the marvellous gem of the Wahat al Karam memorial opposite the Grand Mosque. Personally I rate it as one of the most fascinating attractions in AD, for its subdued yet mystical beauty.

A must visit, need more than an hour to discover the place. Interesting place for photography. Women need to wear a Abaya which is provided, footwear not allowed inside premises. Don't go on an empty stomach, no food places around, bring water.
