Stayed 2 nights, some street noise but to be expected in the centre of a 20 million person city, use ear plugs. Room is clean, compact, and all in all a comfortable place to crash after a day of sightseeing. Payment accepted in foreign or local currency, exchange rate was fair. Wi-Fi in the room is weak but fine in the lobby, which has the upside of allowing some interaction with the staff. The staff move this from a 3 star to 4 star experience in my opinion. Amir on Reception is extremely helpful and pleasant to talk to. The Door man noticed my lack of head phones and each time i showed up in the lobby gave me his. The night staff gave me lessons on history and the cultural make up of Iran. I really felt at home there. Staff either flat out refuse to accept tips or only accept to avoid a scene, so no feeling of people being nice just to get the tip at the end of the interaction.More
