Vacant rooms.
Normal staffs, not too friendly.
Bath rooms are too old!
Atmosphere of rooms is fascinating with beautiful scene through its windows.
Good breakfast service.
Quality of lunch and dinner is also OK.

Ramsar old hotel building backs to about 80 years ago.It is located beside a jungle with a beautiful sea view and is surrounded by a charming and beautiful garden.
The rooms are a little small and have been refurbished many years ago but they are clean overall. There is free WI_FI in hotel and rooms but in poor quality.
Breakfast which is served in Ramsar new hotel that is connected to the old one with a corridor is simple and is not for a 4 star hotel.
The staff are lovely and they do their best for guests.

Room Tip: rooms with a view to jungle are recommended.

This is a quite nostalgic hotel with 80 years of history. It definitely was once a top class luxury hotel. Unfortunately for some reasons (lack of good management, long history) this will not be the same experience for you as of any other hotels. Quite old furniture, doors... that gave me a negative feeling at first but at the same time I could see the majesty of this hotel with its incredible location.
All in all I give it 4 as for its 4 stars and I'm pretty sure that sooner or later this place is gonna turn into a museum and I will tell the story of sleeping at this museum to my children in future.

A fairly empty 70's grand hotel from the Shah's era. It's connected to the much more interesting looking early 20'c hotel next door which appears to be closed.
The rooms have original 70's furniture which would be collectable in the west.
Rather strange being in such a large and empty hotel although lunch was excellent in the restaurant. The bathrooms have been updated and were very good.

There are beach houses for rent in Ramson - might try one of those next time.
