Never stayed long enough to eat a meal . Made a reservation but when arrived, we were escorted to table in the courtyard as you enter the restaurant . This is a space seems to be place where smokers enjoy coffee or a drink. As it is incredible hot and humid this time of the year in Israel, this is not an ideal spot to enjoy a leisurely dinner.
When we politely asked to be moved inside, the receptionist snapped back and said that there were no tables available ( even though we booked).
This really bad and rude attitude prompted us to ask for the manager, who offered us a spot at the bar - not exactly what we had in mind for dinner- and after the bad attitude we decided to rather leave and spend our money elsewhere ....large selection of good eateries in the area- so not worth fighting for a table!!!

The restaurant is in a nice setting in the Neve Tzedek neighborhood. The food is good. Service is below average. I was here a couple of years ago and now realize that it's the DNA of the establishment. They lack something in their customer service attitude and training. On this visit, after we finished the main course, the waitress forgot our table of 4 and did not offer desert nor drinks. We talked for 20-25 minutes, flagged a waiter, and asked for the bill, at which point they finally remembered to offer a drink. No thanks

Had a fabulous meal in a beautiful courtyard setting. All the dishes were lovely, and the black lentils in particular were sublime. I never thought I'd write that about a lentil dish!

I had a very nice breakfast at the dallal restaurant but as far as I know this has been the most expensive breakfast i have ever eaten. the food is very good and everything is high quality for sure but the prissiness is a set back. the service is good and the location is great but if you want to save money the are cheaper places.

We used to eat at Dallal many years ago. I have no idea why we stopped eating here.
We had always a good experience and we returned with friends for lunch in a hot and muggy, typical Tel-Avivian August day. We were definitely not dissapointed after all this time.
We chose from the business lunch menu (although there is a la carte optioon as well). Every dish is mouth watering, good service and nice ambiance.
Enjoyed:
Mushroom gnocchi and cappuccino porcini
Beef carpaccio, pickled vegetable vinaigrette and aioli
Fish tartare, Spanish onion, pickled vegetables and yogurt
