Description: Cafe Europa opened at the end of May 2012, in a picturesque building, at a strategic spot on Rothschild Boulevard. Tasty food and sparkling drinks light up the evening, drawing beautiful people to the entrance, in search for a place to sit. Enjoying your meal under an old tree on our open terrace, upstairs in the bar area, or on the balcony with a view of the whole restaurant, Cafe Europa is definitely the place where you want to be.Green gin is our house cocktail. Based on Tanqueray gin and fresh cucumbers, with the extract of fresh herbs, it is the real refreshener of this hot Tel-Aviv summer. For a gin drink with a different twist, try our a mixture of gin, Campari, Amarena Cherris and Louisa. For a real taste of Mediterranean flavours, take a sip of our Local cocktail, a mixture of Arak, Rosetta syrup (based on almonds), passion fruit and a hint of mint.

Food was amazing, you could order multiple dishes and share the fun little dishes amongst you. The price are reasonable and the atmosphere very cosy.

Me and my friend Jaimy went to cafe Europa last week in Tel Aviv. We arrived at the restaurant without a reservation and they still had a place at the bar in front of the chef (Tony). We arrived and got pampered by Tony. We both have quite difficult allergies (I have a serious allergy for all nuts and Jaimy is gluten intolerant) but even for us, there was still enough choice to pick from. The chef asked us if we wanted to get surprised instead of ordering from the menu (hell yeah) and he surprised us with really amazing food, dish after dish, even the dessert was delicious. I highly recommend the steak tartar (I had the burgers and Jaimy without). Thank you Tony and staff! See you next time.

We called before arriving to Cafe Europa to check if there are gluten free dishes available. They told us there is no problem and there is a large selection and they can also change dishes. Sounded great.
When we arrived the waiter said only the salads are gluten free. we asked if he can check with the kitchen. He didn't wanted to!
I ended up eating artichokes (just OK, nothing special).
I'm writing the review after connecting the restaurant and realizing they don't care.

Overall,
Nothing special about this place, regular food, really bad service.

This place is situated at the bottom of Rothschilds Boulevard, the alfresco setting with twinkling lights overlooking the boulevard is nice and sufficiently set back from the buzz.

The food was amazing, particular favourites of our group where the gnocchi, the Niçoise salad which was more of a large canapé, delicious! The lamb neck stew also went down well as did the seared prawns and calamari in broth. The foccocia bread was also a winner! The deserts were hit and miss, I would dodge the churros which were over cooked (burnt) and tasted acrid, not worth the calories. The cocktails were good and would highly recommend the Moscow mule. As good as the food was in the most part, the experience as a whole was overshadowed by poor and inept service throughout the whole meal. My particular favourite was when the waiter thought we had been done out of his tip and told us service was not included. The reason he thought this was because he had failed to put the right amount through on the card! You’ve been warned!
