I haven't been to Kitchen Market in several years so I had forgotten my previous meal, however, this time, I was ready to consider the variety of tastes and styles that were listed on the menu.
The atmosphere was electric. We sat by a table opposite the chefs so if we became bored with each other for some reason(guys night out), the chef's were energetic creating their dishes for us to see.
We ordered a few starters, one of which was the spicy, shrimp and sausage pizza. Not kosher, but very tasty. Another was something called a porcini mushroom brûlée. Simply put, well done. Between my Mediterranean fish dish, the salmon and the lamb, all three of us enjoyed our dishes and no complaints were heard. The Golan Cabernet wine was up to par and very good.
Making this evening though was the friendliness of staff, always smiling and helpful.
So, the bottom line is, put out a bit of money and treat yourself to a nice time, that is, if you can get a reservation. Maybe earlier in the week is easier. We just happened to call exactly when a reservation had cancelled. Perfect timing for a great dinner out in Tel-Aviv.
