Stayed here as part of a group trip to the Holy Land. Based on the parade of busses outside, it’s apparent that group-stays are this hotels “bread & butter” clientele.
The good is the service friendliness. From reception, to housekeeping, to the dining area, everyone that works at sever arches is kind, helpful and genuine. In addition, the views from some of the rooms are quite nice.
That’s really where the good stops. This hotel is desperate need of capital improvements and deep cleaning. The rooms are worn down and dirty, the paint is dirty and chipped, there were no bathroom amenities besides a bar of soap and packet of shampoo. The dining room and food quality/taste was just not good.
Most likely you are staying here as part of a group, so you can’t change hotels.
It’s an ok place to lay your head after a long day touring and the staff will treat you well. But, my tips are, bring slippers for the dirty carpet in the room, bring your bathroom amenities (soap, lotion etc), and bring snacks or eat somewhere else.More
