We were a group of colleagues who met for dinner in Dushanbe (en route to our work in Central Asia). The ambience was good, we were seated promptly even though the place was busy. We ordered a few dishes to share and a few individual dishes. Four of us were served in time, with our drinks but 2 people were not served, even after 70 min. They were out of sparkling water but did not have the courtesy to inform us. The pizza was delivered after 70 minutes, after 3 reminders. The food itself was good but the service, extremely poor. There were no apologies from the waiting staff or the supervisor.
Overall, poor service and I would not come here again. I would rather go to another place as Dushanbe has an excellent food scene.

If you are going to spend a few days in Dushanbe, I’d strongly recommend a visit to Merve, which is so popular with locals that it would be fair to call it a Dushanbe institution. We went on a weekday at lunchtime and almost every table was full. There is a good reason for this and that is because Merve serves excellent Turkish food.

We can recommend everything that we ate: lentil soup, Iskander kebab, Adana kebab and bread fresh from the oven. Service was also very good and the cost, while above average for Dushanbe, was still perfectly reasonable.

It had potential. But the people in the kitchen have NO consideration for customers. They served RAW kebab to us and people got extremely sick the next day. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Big, good service but food was distinctly ordinary. Pre-cooked and served quickly but quite dry and not very tasty. Service was very good and helpful but I would not rush back
