We’re driving our Landrover from London to Sri Lanka and seem to be increasingly seeking out Hilton hotels for safe harbour in the various storms we encounter. Baku, Tashkent and now Dushanbe.

This time we needed to make an unscheduled stopover in Dushanbe and Mohru quickly arranged a room for us with real consideration and without any drama.

Thank you very much Mohru. You helped us a huge amount in a tricky day and you are an excellent ambassador for Hilton and exemplary customer service.

Niro and Nick

I stayed four nights. The location was good (4.1), close to the airport and some tourist sights, but, not as close as I would have preferred. Inexpensive taxis, however, were abundant.

My room (#915) was very good (4.5); it was large, nicely appointed, and clean. Although, some furnishings and carpet had slight wear. The AC worked great and was quiet. Some street noise, but not oppressive. The bathroom was nice, but dark, as two lights were out; I requested service, but, they were never fixed. Also, it took a bit of time to get hot water in the shower.

Staff service was very good (4.5) and highly responsive throughout the entire hotel, except for the bathroom lights. However, I found some staff to be a bit unapproachable. English was widely spoken.

The breakfast buffet was excellent (4.8), with an abundant array of food and drink choices, including made-to-order eggs. The food was good throughout the hotel.

The gym facilities were excellent (5.0), with dumbbells, machines, and cardio equipment. It also had a spa area with pool, sauna, and steam.

I would say this is the best hotel in Dushanbe - staff are friendly and helpful, and Hilton Honors members get treated well. The food was good and it is close to the airport, it took me less than 10 minutes to reach it in early morning hours. Rooms are comfortable.
