I’d read all the reviews and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. However, I couldn’t fault anything with my visit. I only had the laghman and a green tea, but both were delicious. The service was great and very polite and I was never left waiting for long. Granted, there is the construction of one of the parliamentary buildings happening at the back, but that’s not their fault! Overall, a must see, even just for a drink and to take in the detail of the decoration of the place.

If you go there, eat langman and leave afterwards. It is a nice architecture and a landmark of an old Dushanbe, which is disappearing with all development construction going on. But other than that an average culinary experience.

I was told to go to Rokhat Teahouse because they serve the best Tajik noodles in Dushanbe. It did not disappoint. The place is huge and extremely busy, so expect delays in the service.
PS When I visited, Oct '22, half of the building had been demolished. It's not clear if these are renovations or relocation. It would be a great shame if this historic building get bulldozed.

I was looking forward to come here to Rohat and enjoy the tea in this wonderful teahouse. Finaly found my way here and was astonished by its decoration. The place was empty, so i sat, ordered tea pot with greet tea, and i was reading my book, waiting, and waiting, then after 15 minutes still waiting and nothing was going on. Changed my look with the staff about the tea, but still nobody cares. After 25 minutes i told myself that if they dont care about few customers, im out of there....pity, such a nich place destroyed by total lack of service. I spent almost 5 and half months in Central Asia, but this was first time i experienced something like that...
