This teahouse dating from the 1960s is one of the most interesting buildings on Rudaki Avenue. It combines Soviet modernist style with Central Asian nuances like slender pillars, airy porches and geometric motifs. Architecturally, it is very interesting and will satisfy a hankering for Soviet nostalgia.
The food includes bowls of noodles (laghman), fish dishes and plov. As well as tea, you can also get a beer. Costs are reasonable.
