The hotel is one of a pair, a mirror image. The one on the right is the Asia Grand. The beds were very hard, like sleeping on a wooden board at first but I soon got used to it. It had one lift which played music, the same tune on a Spanish style guitar all the time. It started abruptly when the doors closed and stopped equally abruptly when they opened. If the speaker hadn't been above the lift ceiling I suspect it might have been made to stop working by now. Breakfast was limited, no cereals but the rest was ok. Not many of the staff spoke English but if you asked a question of one who didn't they quiclky found one who did for you. The staff were great, very helpful with any little problem or question you might have. There was loud disco music most nights till 4am but only from the rear of the building. It was nothing to do with the hotel so the only way in which they could help was to move you to a room in the front of the building, which they did for my colleague.
There seems to be a shortage of mid-priced hotels here so unless you want to pay a lot, this is a reasonable choice.
