Like the prison very sad but shows actual sites were mass killings happened. If you are upset by this do not go but it is the history of the country and should not be forgotten

I think that it was such a painful experience to remember of such brutality that took place in human history.

Kindly note that entrance fee is 3 USD and the audio guide is another 3 USD

The tuktuk ride to the Killing Fields is reasonably priced. The village you drive through to get there is dirty and full of poverty- not nice to see.
The Killing Fields themselves tell a heart-breaking story, which shows the absolute worst of human kind. The suffering is unimaginable and absolutely unforgivable.
You can't visit this area of Cambodia without going to the Fields though.
The area could do with some maintainence and up-keep but I understand this is difficult in a protected area.
The $6 fee (including audio) is a good price. The audio is fantastic (much like the one at S21).
The information is relevant and easy to understand. The story is very sad, but you must hear it to truly appreciate Cambodia and it's people.

One of the most emotional visits/tours I have ever done...saying that it is part of History and happened when I was a teenager so well worth learning more.
