Hotel was okay....

2.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 9 Nov 2016via mobile
The rooms at the hotel were clean and very spacious. The staff however were a bit rude. For example, I asked if I could get a bottle of water and the lady just told me "no" with no explanation. The people behind the front desk were nice but they spoke very little English and I'm not convinced they knew what I was talking about half the time. I think the hotel is marketed more towards Russian speaking rather than English speaking travellers. The breakfast wasn't very good by western standards- compared to other hotels we have stayed at during our time in Vietnam- and we decided to go somewhere else the second morning after we stayed at the Victorian. But the location is good and the price is cheap if that's what your looking for.

Very poor hotel. Check-in was bad, not friendly and the staff wanted to keep our passports as a bail otherwise we had to pay in advance. The room was not clean (mice poo on the floor, stains on the sheets) and very loud. You can hear people loud and clear on the hallway and the elevator is making a lot of sound (like a beep when its stops). For the price ($87 for two nights) and the stars (three?!) this hotel doesn't live up the expectations.

Great staff always there to help , good breakfast and excellent location .The rooms are good size and cleaned everyday.Really not much to fault except major construction going on in the area affecting about a dozen hotels so was very noisy during the day.

A very good location rite opposite the beach & centralPark when it completes
I was the only Aussie & many Russian & odd local couples
Not ideal for families & room as advertised
Breakfast could improve for us Aussies eg fresh milk for tea & cerals
Am I fussy no but if they want Aussie couples this suggestion might help
Beach looks very good & we aren't taking sexist but doesn't look that safe for swimmers

Pros: The staff are super helpful and very friendly from the time we arrived to when we checked out. Decent location with lots of places to eat near by and not too far from the beach. We got a super good deal on the room so it was worth it based on the budget.

Cons: Breakfast sucked! Nothing was warm, everything was pretty much eaten and picked through and not much choices to eat. Pool is tiny! Don't expect to swim as you can reach both ends in 2 seconds. There is a deep end (1.8m) which can be worrisome for those with young kids. Nobody tends to the pool, so getting a towel or a beer is next to impossible.

Lots of hotels in Nha Tang so I probably won't be back here again unless there is a super promo.

Thank you Victorian Nha trang hotel staff for the lovely recommendation of food and sightseeing places.Staff is hella nice! Breakfast is very tasty for a 3 star hotel. I love how the hotel is near by the beach. Will come back the next time i visit Vietnam again.
