Great little hotel hidden down a back street at the end of Le Loi street. Spotlessly clean and really quiet. Lovely staff and great food. Most amazing bakers at the end of the street too, so keep an eye out.
Two streets away from Backpackers Hostel which is a must drop in for any English speaking travellers as trips great value and food good there too

I found the Hue Serene Palace to be a pretty great hotel with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The rooms were very spacious, new looking, and comfortable. The bathrooms came with an actual bathtub, which I found pretty rare in my Vietnam travels. There was even a computer in the room itself for easier internet access.

The breakfast was very good. The staff were incredibly friendly. The only downside is that it's a bit hard to find at first. All in all, I would highly recommend the Hue Serene Palace hotel.

I have travelled extensively and stayed in many hotels from one to five star. I do not think that I have stayed in a hotel anywhere with nicer staff or a more pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. the breakfast is varied and well presented. The staff are very friendly, very helpful, and very efficient. they make you feel like part of a happy family. We stayed for four nights and did not want to leave.

We stayed for one night at the Hue Serene Palace Hotel, very spacious room, light and bright and very comfortable, with a good size balcony. The hotel is down a little lane so is really nice and quiet. Staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful and breakfast good with nice fresh juices.

Arriving at the Serene Palace Hue, you might think it is a regular hotel down a back street, and in a way it is just that, but the staff make it something special. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and take care of anything you need. When we arrived, and most times when we came in after a hot day out sightseeing, we were greeted with warm smiles and cold drinks - and none of the drinks appeared on our bill when we left. We got lots of tourist advice and restaurant suggestions from them. The breakfasts were good, with enough choice to suit most tastes, and the room was comfortable and quiet. While it is a little difficult to find, the Serene Palace Hue is worth the search, conveniently close to the main restaurant and shopping streets, and just over the river (20 mins walk or 10 mins by cyclo) from the main sights. We'd definitely stay there again if we go back to Hue some day.
