This hotel is grand and we had a really nice 7 nights stay. The staff were very nice, attentive, friendly and happy. The grand suite was two large, ensuite self contained bedrooms, with small balconies. These were accessed through our lovely sitting room so we had the family room and the night time privacy. Very good. The rooms were all around a beautiful atrium which over looked the pool.
The pool was basic but the area was clean and tidy and had a bar. Very quiet and lovely warm water to laze around in.
Breakfasts were amazing with just about anything you could think of available. Good food in a lovely restaurant.
Tour desk in the lobby was good.
Reception staff, Security , cleaners, doormen and everyone were brilliant and do a good job looking after you.
My one bad comment is the on site Spa. It lets down the hotel. I found out after my treatment that it does not belong to the hotel. It was not hotel standard but it charged hotel prices. Also when two of us booked individual treatments we were told we could use these money off vouchers they gave us. When we came to pay only one was allowed as they treated us as one booking. It was all rushed and unprofessional and we wised we had not bothered. Shame that they are allowed to trade under the hotel name.More
