I like staying in this hotel. The location is great. It has a nice breakfast. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is friendly. I feel the beds are comfortable. The pool and workout room are nice as well. I will stay here again next time I return to Pattaya.

I am very conflicted on this hotel. Room and decor 10/10 shower was an issue as there was barely any pressure or hot water. Staff was very helpful on check in. However upon leaving the hotel they wanted to charge me a 20% surcharge on using the mini bar and paying by credit card that is rediculous, they were very rude at check out and I am not sure I would recommend staying here. Wifi was very iffy and not strong at all.

Overall, a good hotel. Clean and very nice rooms. Maybe a little pricey but still good. Some problems with the shower temperature that fluctuates between hot and cold. I found that if I turned on the hot water to the bathtub, then the shower would remain constant although with less water pressure. Called them to fix it and thought it was working but then started doing it again so just wnet with it. A/C is a little noisy but works well. Great location.

I go to this hotel a few times a year. The house keeping dept looks after your room perfectly. Decent rooms. Bell boys know me well and from the entrance it is welcome time. Then come to the checking in. Efficient front office staff checks you in quickly, efficiently and with respect and welcome.

We stayed here for a week in January. The location is very much on Beach Road. We booked a sea view room and thought it would have direct views to the sea. In reality the hotel is split into two building, the smaller at the front with the swimming pool and administration building in the middle then the main clock behind. So the main block is actually 100 yds back from the main road, which turned out to be a bit of a blessing due to the noise.
Arrival
Due to location the actual entrance to the hotel is on Soi 12 as we pulled up I could see the two bell boys looking at us and assumed they would come out and assist with our cases. Wrong, they just stood and watched us heave our cases up the small flight of stairs and into the hotel. They then appeared keen to put to them on a cart to take them up on the lift. Wrong, we did the hard bit so they were getting no tip.
Check in staff was cold but efficient. Absolutely no friendliness or warm welcome, very little conversation and worked like robots. I was requested to pay 1000bht deposit for mini bar content.
Room
The room looked exactly as it did on the website, only a lot smaller. The room was fine, if showing a little wear, but overall acceptable. The bed was a little hard but the room service was fine and we were impressed overall. Don’t expect to be able to sit on the balcony. It does have a table and chair, but the A/C unit is also there making a huge noise and pumping out a lot of heat.
Breakfast
Disgusting! Breakfast is a buffet served on the area at the front of the hotel which is outside, but covered by a canopy. You are given a voucher for each day at check in. I would certainly not like to be eating there in the height of the hot season, as you are outside. The majority of the guests appear to be Arabs or Indians hence the breakfast is predominantly focused towards them with curry soups noodles etc. They do offer eggs of choice cooked to order and a good choice of fruit which is kept in a fridge with doors, which is critical (more later) they offer chicken sausages, sliced cold ham, cold baked beans and a few other items. They also have toaster for you to make toast and tea and coffee, which after trying you would not bother again as the coffee is cold and the tea is a pot on a warmer with water and 5 tea bags boiling away! Now the big issue for me; because the area and food are all outside, the food attracts lots and lots of flies and birds. The birds sit on the lights and the canopy and fly down at every opportunity. They eat anything which is not covered. Tables which are vacated with food left have birds sitting on the plates pecking away and dropping over the plates tablecloths etc. The birds also fly down and peck on the food in the warmers if someone does not shut the lid. I actually witnessed birds standing on top of the cold meat pecking away. If the lids are shut they swoop down and peck off the serving spoons eating whatever food is attached to the spoon. It is a complete health hazard. The staff are inefficient and unhelpful. The milk jug for the coffee was empty, I asked a member of staff for it to be filled. I was instructed to go over to the big milk dispenser at the other side of the room and fill it myself….. really! We only ate the fresh fruit each day as it is covered in the fridge and we felt it was safe to eat.
The chairs in the restaurant, especially over at the smoking side (next to the food) are covered in bird droppings. Not appealing in any way.
Service
Did not really ask for any but overall not a friendly place, on coming back from the beach passing reception no one ever lifted their head to say hello and the doorman never once went near the door. I hope he has a good data package on his phone because all I ever saw him do was play on his mobile.

Room tip: On the furthest away block back from very noisy Beach Road
