It was a family trip and there were 11 of us so you could imagine how difficult it was to accommodate everybody we were all satisfied.
Upon arrival we were notified there was no water supply and we were transferred to another hotel nearby. When we returned on the following day, the manager Mr Sunet Utasena upgraded our rooms. We got a suite and all other rooms right next to each other. There were some problems with the rooms (unpleasant odor probably from the HVAC system and the AC was too cold) but the staff would not walk away without giving us solutions. Location was good too it's close to local night markets and there're always tuk tuk to get you to wherever you need to be at.
The gym and pool were terribly small. We spent 2 hours there didn't see any guest at all. Limited food selections at the hotel restaurant. But it didn't really bother us as there were so many restaurants out there and we were out sightseeing most of the time.
Will definitely stay at Suriwongse if we are back to chiang mai. Thank you all the staff especially Mr Net.More
