We picked this Hotel as it belongs to the SALA Hospitality Group which we used with good experiences during our stays in Bangkok and Ayutthaya.
Overall great stay with super service. Breakfasts is a la carte and always freshly prepared. The Hotel is located at the River so we decided to have a dinner right next to the water on one evening. Design is unique and not your normal chain Hotel experience. Would definitely recommend and return if I come back to Chiang Mai.

Room tip: go for the river view rooms!

I stayed for 3 nights with my 4year old daughter as a post Songkran escape from Bangkok. Our stay was faultless.... the staff were wonderful (and exceptionally tolerant of my daughter) the food is amazing (both breakfast and the other meals including one of the best khao soi I've had) room was lovely, the location on the river both convenient and perfect for evening cocktails. As frequent visitors to Chiang Mai we've finally found our place and will most certainly be back.

Perfect Quaint Boutique Hotel booked through our travel agent, and it was not the fanciest that we stayed out in our 10 days in Thailand, but it was quite comfortable. The beds were great, free welcome drinks, excellent breakfast included. Great location, but being on the river there were lots of mosquitoes. The staff was so very nice, and efficient. They were very helpful, and did their best to spay and keep the mosquitoes at bay. Eat at Woos across the street...you will love it. The red tea in the evening was a nice unexpected treat. Do not forget to go visit the elephant sanctuary

We loved this boutique hotel inside out. Room was spacious and clean. Hotel staffs were really friendly and caring. Ambiance is relaxing and slow paced. Just the way how the vacation should be. Mutiple breakfast set can be chosen and they are delicious!

One drawback will be that there were too many mosquito inside the room during our stay. If you visit during a cooler season then the situation might be better.

All in all, one flaw cannot obscure the splendor of the jade. This hotel is a great place to stay, highly recommend!

Just had 2 lovely nights at the Sala -Chang Mai. The river side setting and great staff at reception and restaurant make for a relaxing get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Would recommend it. With only 15 rooms and lovely roof top swimming pool it is a little gem. Visit Woo across the road. A lovely cafe/restaurant with lovely staff and great kitchen ware to purchase.
