Service: The reception was very attentive and did everything she could to call around to look for massage parlours to relive my family member’s sprain. It is this type of personalised service that makes boutique hotels great. Smiling and courteous staff everywhere. Can’t ask for more.
Location: just right outside of the old city near Thapae gate in a quiet neighbourhood. The road to the hotel is slightly dark but not a problem if you get in and out on taxi / grab.
Room: spacious and comfortable. I got upgraded and the bathroom door could slide open to access the wash basin without having to walk into the bathroom. The bed was large and comfortable but the water temperature at the shower was a bit sporadic.
Decor: bright and open. Super comfy. Laid back atmosphere.
Facilities / breakfast: The pool is tiny but good enough for splashing around for kids. There’s also a wooden swing next to it. Breakfast was nice, 4 style of eggs to choose from with different selections each day. Small selection of bread and danish, cakes, salad bar, yogurt, dried fruits, juices, continental and local hot dishes. Not a huge variety but sufficient.
I would highly recommend this place and would certainly come back the next time I’m in Chiangmai. More
