Once again, the people working at this restaurant/hotel go above and beyond the call of duty to make you feel at home. And the food was excellent!!!!

Last reviewed May 2015.
Highly recommended.
I have been coming here for 12 years plus and I have never had an unpleasant experience.
What more can I say?
The sandwiches and pastries are always fresh and tasty.
My favourite is the Rubens.
(possibly the best in town - evenly tied with the Marriott Bakery)
The kitchen staff - in my experience - are happy to accommodate variations on the menu. For example; giving me a very tasty and generous side salad rather than French Fries. (Have to watch my figure these days!)
Wi-Fi of course.
Choice of indoor or outdoor seating.
In the sun or in the shade.
There is a happy hour on drinks - late afternoon.
Some reviewers complain that this café is too expensive.
For the location, the friendly service and the quality of food, I don't think so.
For the frequent patron, there is the Club Landmark which will give up to 50% discount on dining.

The Landmark bakery is easy to find, ideally located and highly recommended as a place to meet friends for a light lunch - or for a quick happy hour drink before going off elsewhere.

A lovely place to sit and watch the world and all the cosmopolitan people go by. 2 for 1 at happy hour too which is a bonus!

After a long walk, or a busy morning, relax on the terrace with a long cool beer. Only a few yards from the traffic, but not too close to bother you at all.
