Always like the close proximity of this hotel. The only setback is its old amenities. The rooms and toilets are old, time for a refresh. Covid has caused room occupancy to drop. Yet prices didn't drop non did they try to get more take up. It's marked sold out when it clearly wasn't and food is only 25% of what it was at the original price. Time for a detailed relook

10 years ago this room was great. but now, it needs to have a total rennovation
the carpets aare old and musky

The location of the hotel is just great. Aspecially if you plan to spend your time by doing shopping and dining. The service in the hotel is very good. Staff is very hospitable, friendly and helpful. The room is ok. Bed was also comfy.

Excellent service from the Front Desk and concierge (especially the English speaking manager).

The staff remembers each guest as I called them after we’ve left and told them I checked out earlier that day, the staff on the line was able to identify me by my name.
Not to mention great location where it’s opposite Central World and beside Big C

I stayed at Arnoma Grand Bangkok when I visited Bangkok for the first time post Covid-19 pandemic in mid February 2022. The service was poor and the hotel was empty. We didn’t see other guests. It was eerily empty. Worst part is, even if we paid for our stay online, the guy at the reception insisted on paying a deposit because of the minibar in the room and he also offered a late check out at 5pm for us since our return flight was at 8pm. My father and I had a long day at the hospital that day and we were tired so we gave BHT1000 for deposit since he would not give our keys saying that it’s a routine practice for them. We’ve stayed with them before and they did take deposits even before this so we didn’t suspect anything. The guy was unusually nice and sweet and always smiling. I realized what he was up to later when we went to check out of the hotel. He refused to return our deposit of BHT1000 saying that he never took any money! We’ve stayed at the hotel even before this and they do take deposits and return it when we check out. It’s seems that after the pandemic, they don’t keep anything in the minibar and so they no longer collected deposits. That was not mentioned anywhere and we also missed to ask for the receipt that night after having a long and stressful day at the hospital that day and since we’ve stayed with them before, we didn’t expect to get cheated. Looks like they’re cheating and ripping off from tourists now to catch up for their loss during lockdown. So BE CAREFUL and don’t stay at Arnoma Grand Bangkok. The rooms also had poor lighting and even if the hotel was basically empty, the woman at the reception had an attitude and was also very rude and refused what we were offered earlier regarding the 5pm checkout and she said 3pm instead on the day of checking out. We had an unfortunate experience that day and reached the hotel by 3:15pm. When we went there, the woman at the reception created a huge drama saying that we didn’t check out at 12pm and that we were supposed to check out at 12pm! These receptionists change their mind every hour and they don’t have anything written recording what they offer to tourists. They’re very unorganized and impulsive! That receptionist said that she needed the room for other guests who were waiting. The hotel was literally EMPTY and the only people we even saw during our stay there were 3 hotel staff only! She also made the bell captain follow us to our rooms as if we wanted to stay there!

Arnoma Grand Bangkok is a RIP OFF after the pandemic. We’re never going back there again. My parents stayed at Novotel Platinum instead when they went back to Thailand in March 2022. It’s in the same area. We go to Thailand annually multiple times and we will never stay at Arnoma Grand Hotel ever again!

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND STAY AT ANOTHER HOTEL THAT WOULD TREAT YOU WITH RESPECT AND DIGNITY AND ALSO GIVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICES!

I have stayed at this hotel as part of 14-day quarantined. I Obviously, hotel has gone through some modification to support state-quarantined facility. Pictures of the hotel when you look from website seem to be very nice and clean. Reality, room is old. When I got it, first thing i saw was nasty toilet bowl. It is like it has never cleaned properly for quite sometime. I did not even bother calling the hotel, just dealt within assuming they will not do anything because we need to be isolated. the cleanliness has damaged this hotel. I would have had better impression and let people know how nice and clean of this hotel was after I leave if they checked the room before people checked in. Unfortunately, I have to speak the truth and the truth is, I would not recommend this to anyone.
